Summer Sales in Paris
From 26th June to 30th July 2013
Summer sales in Paris is a perfect opportunity to treat yourself with the latest Parisian fashion or anything else, without breaking the bank. Discounts starts at 30% and on the final days reach 70%.
You will find them everywhere in Paris, from the big department stores Gallery Lafayette, Printemps, Au Bon Marche to the boutiques of the young designers or the ultra-trendy designers of the Marais.

Bastille Day 14th July National Holiday
The evening before the big day is spent dancing at numerous balls that are organized around the city. Try to get into one held by the fire service in their stations, at which the fire-fighters are usually the star attraction.
On the 14th July the Parade on Champs-Elysées Avenue starts at around 10am, Fireworks by the Eiffel Tower starts at around 10pm and the Balls around town continue late into the night.

Tour de France
The world's best cyclists compete each year in the Tour de France. The famous cycle race covers 3500km of rural, mountainous and coastal terrain all over France, before the sprint to the finish line down Paris' Champs-Elysées on 21 July 2013

Les Arenas du Jazz
Montmartre hosts its annual modern jazz festival, Les Arènes du Jazz. The cobbled streets, are a magical setting for an evening of Parisian Jazz notes as the sun sinks behind the Sacré Coeur.

Paris' Cinema Festival

Held at cinemas all over the French capital, at €5 a screening, and with more than 450 films to choose from, it leaves viewers spoilt for choice.There are several premières and a program of activities, including outdoor screenings and concerts. Past guests have included Jackie Chan, Isabelle Hupert and Oliver Stone.
