Municipal Museum of Asian Arts offers a rich collection of Chinese art from the antiquity to the XIVth century in a former private home overlooking the Park Monceau. Free Entrance

Musée de l’Institut du Monde Arabe
1, rue des Fossés Saint-Bernard, 5th
M° Jussieu
The museum presents a number of scientific and mathematical discoveries made in the Arab World. The architecture of the building itself, by Jean Nouvel, incorporates an entire wall of windows with camera-like apertures that open and close according to the amount of sunlight outside.
It's also possible to enter the institute for free, to visit the 9th-floor rooftop restaurant and terrace or that offers great views over Notre Dame and the Ile-St-Louis!

Musée National des Arts Asiatiques–Guimet

An elegant building houses this museum dedicated to Asian civilizations, with a collection of artifacts from India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, South-East Asia, Japan, Korea and the Himalayas.
Entry to Buddhist Pantheon, a block up the street at 19 avenue d'Iéna, and Japanese garden, both of them free and open daily except Tuesday from 9:45am-5:45pm .

This new museum brings have a great collection of primitive arts from civilizations in Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania in a building designed by Jean Nouvel.
The restaurant Les Ombres offers an excellent view of the Seine . A café and a bookstore are located by the garden.
