Musée des Arts Décoratifs

Boasting some 150,000 objects, this museum has the collections of furnishings, textiles and decorative objects. Created in the wake of the 19th-century Expositions Universelles in Paris, and formerly housed in the Palais de l’Industrie and the Pavillon de Flore, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs was inaugurated on May 29, 1905. Managed by the Union Centrale des Arts Décoratif, its collections were displayed in the Louvre's rue de Rivoli wing, between the north entrance to the museum and the Pavillon de Marsan.
Baccarat Galerie-Museum

Baccarat is a name associated with the best in crystal ware: vases, glasses, ornaments, etc. Baccarat Crystal comes from the town of Baccarat, Lorraine. Founded in 1764 under order by King Louis XV, the glasswork factory has since produced the world's finest crystal pieces from vases, chandelier, stemware, jewelry and other pieces.
In 1832 the Baccarat workshops moved to the prestigious Rue de Paradis and later on changed the location to a former aristocratic townhouse, Hôtel de Noailles in the posh 16th arrondissement, next to embassies and upscale residential streets. You can visit the museum in Baccarat to learn the method of fabrication and admire its beautiful collection.
There's a boutique and posh Cristal Room restaurant decorated by Philippe Starck.
Maxim's Art Nouveau 1900 Collection

Pierre Cardin collection of unique Art Nouveau furniture and objects (silverware, tableware, furnishings, china, bronze, glassware, lamps and more).
There's also a 1900 Spectacle: "The New Lady of Chez Maxim's" who sings the history of the era during a light meal (Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4pm-5:45pm, tickets €55. Cabaret nights the last Friday of the month (black tie; €220).
Cernuschi Musée des Arts de l’Asie de la Ville de Paris

Municipal Museum of Asian Arts offers a rich collection of Chinese art from the antiquity to the XIVth century in a former private home overlooking the Park Monceau. Free Entrance
Musée de l’Institut du Monde Arabe
1, rue des Fossés Saint-Bernard, 5th

The museum presents a number of scientific and mathematical discoveries made in the Arab World. The architecture of the building itself, by Jean Nouvel, incorporates an entire wall of windows with camera-like apertures that open and close according to the amount of sunlight outside.
It's also possible to enter the institute for free, to visit the 9th-floor rooftop restaurant and terrace or that offers great views over Notre Dame and the Ile-St-Louis.
